Local and family-owned, we’ve been helping Islanders in PEI enjoy the latest technologies for over forty years. 

We love the rural Island way of life, where being neighbourly comes as naturally as the ebb and flow of the tides. And where ‘the simple life’ is cherished in every sunset walk, every handshake, every ocean dip, and every smile offered to a stranger.  

At the same time, we believe you should be able to enjoy the best of both worlds. You should be able to work from home, pursue your studies online, Zoom with far-flung friends and family, and enjoy movie night without having to haul out the VCR.

Because living beyond the city limits shouldn’t feel limiting.

Over Forty Years of Customer Care

Leo-Paul (LP) Arsenault didn’t think his friends and neighbours in PEI should have to drive to the city to buy the latest TV from a chain store. So, in 1981 he opened the doors to his new electronics shop in Day’s Corner, L.P. TV & Stereo Service. 

For forty years, LP navigated the everchanging world of technology. Time and time again, he adapted to ensure his customers always had access to the latest in-demand electronic products and services. 

Over the years the name has changed – from L.P. TV & Stereo Service to LP Electronics and, most recently, to LP Internet Services –  to reflect the evolution of our services, but our DNA remains the same.

Since 1981 and in all the years that have passed, LP’s way of doing business has been anchored in a love for his community and a commitment to providing the highest standards of customer care. These values have been deeply embedded in the company’s DNA and are embraced by every member of our staff.

In early 2023, LP passed the family business baton on to his son, Donald Arsenault. Donald, like LP, is driven by a desire to serve rural Islanders and provide an alternative to the ‘big guys’.

Helpfulness – Helping our friends and our neighbours is as engrained in our being as the iron is in our red soils.  We provide affordable services without compromising on quality because that’s simply how we’re hardwired to help.

Community – Our family has called PEI home for several generations (our surname may have given that away!). For us, community is at the heart of everything that makes for a good life. In everything we do as a business, we emulate the values that underpin our kind, genuine, and adaptable rural communities.

Perseverance – We don’t back down from hard work or challenges. We’ve kept our doors open for over four decades by tackling every obstacle that’s crossed our path, always with a view to providing the very best service and products to you.
